Privacy Policy for Subscription Tracker

This Privacy Policy explains how Subscription Tracker, developed by Digital Symphony Design (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you use the app.

Subscription Tracker helps users manage recurring subscriptions, track billing dates, schedule reminders, and unlock premium features through paid subscriptions.

1. Information We Handle

Information you enter into the app

Subscription Tracker allows you to enter and store information such as:

  • subscription names
  • costs and currencies
  • billing frequencies
  • renewal dates
  • reminder settings
  • notes
  • payment method details
  • website URLs related to subscriptions
  • app preferences, such as theme settings

This information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Purchase and subscription information

If you purchase a premium subscription, purchase-related information is processed by the relevant app store and by RevenueCat, which we use to manage subscriptions, restore purchases, and verify premium access.

This may include:

  • subscription status
  • transaction information
  • entitlement status
  • anonymous purchase-related identifiers

We do not collect your name or email address through this purchase flow.

Local notifications

If you enable reminders, the app may schedule local notifications on your device using information you entered, such as subscription name, cost, and renewal timing.

These notifications are created locally on your device. We do not use push notifications or collect push tokens at this time.

2. How Information Is Used

Information handled by the app is used only to:

  • display and manage your subscription entries
  • calculate renewal dates and reminders
  • schedule local reminder notifications
  • unlock premium features
  • restore purchases
  • verify subscription status

3. Data Storage

Subscription Tracker stores subscription data and settings locally on your device.

We do not currently operate a cloud sync service, user account system, or backend that stores your subscription records.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your locally stored subscription data with third parties.

Limited purchase-related information may be processed by third-party service providers only as necessary to support in-app subscriptions and purchase restoration, including:

  • Google Play or Apple App Store
  • RevenueCat

These providers process data according to their own privacy policies.

5. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

Subscription Tracker does not currently use:

  • analytics SDKs
  • advertising SDKs
  • crash reporting SDKs
  • attribution or marketing SDKs
  • tracking technologies for advertising purposes

6. Accounts and Personal Information

Subscription Tracker does not require account creation.

We do not collect or transmit personal information such as:

  • name
  • email address
  • phone number
  • advertising ID
  • device ID

Any information you type into the app stays on your device unless required for purchase processing through the app store or RevenueCat.

7. Premium Features

Subscription Tracker currently offers a free version with limits and a paid version with additional features, including:

  • support for more than 10 tracked subscriptions
  • access to locked premium features such as the dark theme

Premium access is managed through weekly or annual subscriptions, depending on the plan made available in the app.

8. Your Choices

You may:

  • edit or delete subscription entries inside the app
  • disable notifications in the app or your device settings
  • cancel your subscription through your app store account settings
  • uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from your device

9. Children’s Privacy

Subscription Tracker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the functionality of the app and the services we use. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
